With this inspiring message, the students of Sagar Vidya Niketan enthusiastically celebrated the 55th Earth Day on 22nd April 2025, honouring the birth of the Modern Environmental Movement and promoting global awareness for our planet. The day commenced with a stirring address and an oath-taking ceremony led by Headmistress, Ms. Priyanka Upadhyay. Students showcased their creativity through vibrant poster-making and drawing sessions, reflecting their affection for Mother Earth. Interactive skits and classroom dialogues highlighted practical yet impactful steps such as conserving water, planting trees, minimizing plastic use, and maintaining cleanliness. The celebration not only enlightened young minds but also inspired them to become mindful stewards of the environment. Tiny hands promised to take care of mother earth by planting saplings in the school compound. Let’s unite our efforts to build a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable world!
