With this belief in heart Sagar Vidya Niketan is an initiative by Abhay Sagar Foundation with a mission to provide holistic education & serve mankind. It is an effort of community service by Sagar Group to strengthen the education system in the countryside. The foundation stone of Abhay Sagar foundation was laid on 1 July 2015, under the direction of Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman and visionary leader of the Sagar group. The main objective is to spread the message of education in the society which is deprived of education in the rural areas.

National Sports Day 2026
“Sports build more than strong bodies; they build strong minds, resilient spirits, and admirable character.” Sagar Vidya Niketan celebrated National Sports Day with great enthusiasm through a special assembly commemorating the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary Indian Hockey player. The students presented an engaging skit portraying his inspiring life, struggles, achievements, and remarkable contribution to Indian hockey. The presentation beautifully brought alive the values of discipline, determination, perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The celebration conveyed a meaningful message that sports are an integral part of character building, nurturing confidence, resilience, leadership, service to the motherland and the spirit to strive for excellence.

Celebrating Rakshabandhan
Rakhi celebrations at Sagar Vidya Niketan were painted with the colours of joy, imagination, and affection. Kindergarten students showcased their artistic flair in the Drawing Competition, whereas the Primary Section gave wings to their imagination through Creative Writing. The Senior Section celebrated tradition through a graceful Mehendi Competition, with beautiful mehendi designs adorning the hands of our didis. The day was a lovely blend of creativity, culture, and the cherished spirit of siblinghood, making the celebration truly memorable.

80th Independence Day
“Honouring our freedom with pride, strengthening our nation through unity, and embracing our responsibility as citizens of a stronger India.” The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebration featured week-long activities including Fancy Dress Competition for Kindergarten students, where our tiny tots portrayed inspiring freedom fighters and national leaders, Patriotic Song Competition for Classes I to V and Social Science week dedicated to the freedom struggle for Classes VI to XII. Students participated enthusiastically dedicating their efforts to the life and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, our true national icons.
