Computer Lab

Computer literacy is essential for success in any field. At SVN, the computer lab prepares students for the future by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in a technology-driven world. It provides a personalized learning experience for students. They can work at their own pace, revisit concepts they may not have understood, and receive instant feedback on their progress. This helps to enhance their learning outcomes and increase their confidence in using technology. It also provides students with hands-on learning opportunities, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. They can experiment with software applications, explore the internet, and learn programming languages, among other things.

Labs provide students a perfect learning environment for conducting experiments, making observations, and exploring their curiosities.

SCIENCE LAB- At SVN students engage themselves in well-designed laboratory experiences, develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as gain exposure to reactions, materials, and equipment in a lab setting. This helps to understand concepts and principles and provide a detailed account of the experiment, including the methods, data collected, and results obtained. It requires them to carefully analyze their data and draw conclusions based on their observations. Carrying out experiments in a laboratory personally and analysis of the data obtained also help in inculcating scientific temper, logical thinking, rational outlook, sense of self-confidence, ability to take initiative, objectivity, cooperative attitude, patience, self- reliance, perseverance, etc.

The need and importance of yoga in education arises from the fact that it helps in improving concentration and attention span. Yoga is also known to improve memory function and its direct impact can be seen in the student’s performance. Yoga is a great aid to ensure that students don’t suffer from inattentiveness and hyperactivity. All of this together ensures better results.

To improve students' performance we also included Yoga in the curriculum. It is a part of their regular Time-Table . It is compulsory for children to take yoga classes. There is a separate yoga zone in our campus to  teach yoga to students from K.G I to XII.
